John Louis Schwallie had been recording indie rock songs in the midwest for years before his world came crashing down.
In his final semester of college, John ventured far from home, attending The Contemporary Music Center in Brentwood, TN. Tasked to write a new song every other week, he reflected on his tumultuous long-distance relationship in real-time. When the situation escalated to an intense break-up, John found the only way to process his pain was to write through it.
Collaborating with friend and producer, Benjamin Mariano, he crafted a collection of songs that chronicle the traumatic relationship from beginning to end, and onward to recovery. The first single, "Worth It", takes place early on, as problems began to arise in the relationship.
